Opening Reception
We are pleased to invite you to the Conference Opening Reception at the BVM Conference!
- Date: Sunday, March 15, 2026
- Time: 17:30 - 20:30h, after the tutorials
- Location: Room 68 (Cook/Karp), Building 64, Ratzeburger Allee 160, 23562 Lübeck
Start the conference in a relaxed atmosphere and take the opportunity to exchange ideas with other participants over a few snacks and drinks (with or without alcohol).
We look forward to a successful start!
Running Events (without registration, free of charge)
We also invite you to join us for a guided run along Lübeck’s medieval old town, covering a distance of approximately 6 km. The route starts and ends at the Mühlenbrücke bridge and takes you along the Klughafen harbor, through the medieval old town, and finally along the Trave river around the old town island back to the Mühlenbrücke. It offers a wonderful view of the old town island and its surrounding canals and rivers and is suitable for all participants, regardless of their fitness level, with a comfortable, compatible pace for everyone. Take the opportunity to get some exercise and explore the city in a relaxed and enjoyable way.

Hanseatic city tour
Join us as we explore the most important sights of this Hanseatic city. We start with Lübeck's most iconic landmark – the Holstentor.
Experience Lübeck from its idyllic side and visit the narrow alleys and picturesque courtyards with us!

End: approx. 7.30 p.m. at the cargo ship

Post-Conference Dinner (self-payer)
After the conference, we would like to offer all those who remain in the city the opportunity to round off the evening in a get-together. We are organizing a dinner together in the authentic Italian pizzeria
San Marco, Mühlenbrücke 11-15, 23552 Lübeck
We will reserve the table - but participants will have to pay for their own food and drinks.
